500 ml capped bottle. Poured in an English tulip pint glass an unfiltered and unclear rich-burgundy coloured DIPA with a two fingers tan, dense and creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, riped fruits, plums, prunes, raisins and floral hops. The flavour is roasted malts, roasted coffee beans, chocolate, spicy, licorice and resinous hops. The mouthfeel is light crispy, fulled, creamy, thick and pleasant bitter. The texture is oily. This full bodied DIPA has a long fruity, malty and strong hoppy bitter finish. A tasty DIPA in which the high alcoholic level, 8.5 % ABV, seems to play, in my feeling, no role. Overall a very pleasant DIPA.

Pours out in a an almost black colour with dark ruby edges topped with a low firm off-white head. Big aroma of roasted malts, coffee-beans, peppery alcohol and BIG- time minty, piney and grassy hops. Full-bodied with chewy notes of bitter black chocolate, black coffee with strong bittersweet hoppy notes of pine and resin. Thick mouthfeeel. Long bitter finish of black chocolate, grass, resin, pine-needles and orange-zest. Great stuff.

Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Deep ambery brown colour with small off-white head. Aroma is fruity hops, some liquorice, mild grass as well as some caramel and toffeeish notes. Flavour is grass, some fruityness as well as sweet maltyness. Wellbalanced and very enjoyable.
