This bock pours a light orange amber color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity (pineapple and peach) and slightly bready. Touch of floral and sweetness. A medium bodied bock. Malts are bread and cookies. Lots of fruit flavors, pineapple mostly. Touch of floral hops. A little thin tasting and perhaps a little too sweet, but not a bad beer. Smooth tasting, nice malty finish. Seems to hide the alcohol fairly well. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish Is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

As noted in the review by Clash, too many brews like this end up old and not tried. Magnus has a very nice copper color, and a malty aroma, depending on how old the bottle is. I have bought this brew for .5 $ when I was a saleman, but the wholesale was $1.50 US. Malt dominates, with some hops on finish. Good thing is this is 8%, and IS from Allgau. The outcome is a first rate delivery system for alcohol, with minimal side effects. Not a taste champ, but sure packs a whallop!

Man this bottle is old. 5 years at the bare minimum. It has a musky and doughy aroma. The appearance is a cloudy yellow. It tastes old but it worked somehow. A chewy bread character. Interesting.
