Brewed with New Belgium to celebrate our friendship. (Vrienden means “friends” in Flemish.) Designed to be brewed in each brewery with slight changes to the recipe at each location. A portion of the proceeds from our version of this beer benefits a Maine non-profit: Friends of Casco Bay. This beer has an earthy, pineapple, lime aroma. The flavor is clean and fruity. Medium bodied in mouth feel, finishes dry with a citric tartness. ABV: 9.3% Grains: Maine Grown Barley Malt, Allgash 2-row Malted Barley Blend, Caramel Malt Hops: Northern Brewer and Cascade Spices/Other: Maine Grown Elderberries, Dandelion Greens Yeast: “Trapist” ale strain, Allagash Brettanomyces, New Belgium Lactobacillus Original Gravity: 1.068, 16.6 egrees Plato Time to Maturation: 4 months
