A tribute to Alexander Keith’s leadership of the Atlantic Freemasons, this hop-forward ale balances the dominant notes of citrus and grapefruit of the aromatic Centennial hop with rich malt and a robust bitterness.

Enjoyed this one with Chopz at the local Darcy McGee's. Pint arrived with a fairly small layer of head and didn't stay very long. Has a clear amber/copper appearance. Lacing is just ok. Mild floral hop aromas, not quite punchy enough, with a little bit of light maltiness. Has a pretty nice hoppy flavour. Mild citrus hops, hints of honey, maybe corn syrup. Slighty sweet. Faint hint of corn, mostly in mouthfeel. Good balance of hops and malts. Slight bitterness in the finish. Pretty good, and more enjoyable than their normal IPA.

Saw this one in the local paper, advertising a 50 IBU instead of their regular IPA at 17 IBU. Pours a clean amber colour with a small off-white cap, and a bit of lacing. Light fruity malt nose with very mild hop. Decent mouthfeel with some stickiness and some dryness. Fruity malt taste with mild hop again, light roasted malt and bitterness in the finish. Grain eventually comes out. One of the better Keith's products, getting closer to a real IPA (but still lacking some attack). At least, no corn was felt in this one like most of their beers.
