The hop-dominant flavor and aroma might make you think this is a “bigger” beer, but the drinkable, thirst-quenching attributes of Kicker are enhanced by a lower alcohol content. A light caramel or toffee malt background and light to medium body mouth feel make this session ale a satisfying brew. The aroma delivers a bright hop aroma of citrus, such as grapefruit and tangerine, with a light malt backbone. The hop flavors can be truly fruity, with tangerine and strawberry notes coming from Citra and Amarillo, and a grapefruit and pine taste from Simcoe and Mosaic hops

pours a clear copper color with a white head of foam. Good head retention. The aroma is grassy and has some orange rind aspects to it. Taste is dry and pithy, somewhat resinous. Bitter throughout. Lighter to medium body and moderate carbonation.
