Beer is mahogany in color, murky, with a huge off-white cap. Cap is rocky and sticks around. Aroma is bready malt, caramel, nutty malt, and yeast. Mouthfeel is full. Flavor is bread, chocolate, caramel, and yeast.

Pours a big fizzy head, lots of bubbles, and gives way to a thin off white head. Has a dark brownish colour with sediments clearly visible. Strong roasted malt aromas with notes of caramel. Has a slight smell of alcohol to it. Flavours of coffee roast, yeast, chocolate and has a malty thickness in the mouthfeel, and mild bitterness. Sort of reminds me of Unibroue beers. Really good.

The beer poured a nice reddish-brown with a good tan head. The aroma was of roasted malt, caramel and fruit. I enjoyed this beer, I would drink it again without questions.

Very dark brown colro with colored thick lasting foam. Sticks to glass and upper lip, good. Bitter sweet taste with fruits (citrus) lingering. Good tickling on tip of tongue. Good beer (Velp 201204)

Part of the LCBO's winter warmer series for 2011. This is an excellent beer...pours a solid reddish-brown colour with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is full of sweet tones, caramel, plums, and sugar. The flavour is on the sweeter side of the spectrum as well, with a dryish finish.

330 ml bottle, from Carrefour, Cartagena (Spain). ABV is 6.8%. Dark brown colour, decent off-white head. Nice aroma of brown malts and brown kandij sugar and caramel, also spicy notes of Belgian ale yeast. High level of carbonation in the mouth. Moderately malty and spicy flavour, notes of brown bread and brown kandij sugar, but not very sweet. Nice enough.

This was a below average Dubbel imo. It had all the characteristics, some spicyness, yeast, carmel, brown sugar, etc, but it also had slightly unfriendly bannana, and was a bit watery and soapy. It was ok. Not great.

Soft and sweet. Has a strong taste to go with it. When poured into it's glass it gives a good foamy head. It is a nice dubbel with a bit of hoppy bitternes at it's end.

Nice Dubbel. Dark red/brown pour. Big tan rocky head with smell of raisins and fruit. Smooth mouth-feel caramel notes come up front a little biscut on the end. I would say average not the best, will not refuse if this is all to be had. Enjoyable.

A mainstream dubble with nothing to characterize it from any other Belgian Abbey Dubbel. It pours a dark reddish brown with a tan coloured head. The aroma is dark caramel malt, dark fruit, and yeast. The flavour is slightly sweet, malty, with a dryness in the finish.
