330ml bottle at Pub Italia, poured in a large chalice glass. Pours a fairly large frothy off-white head and has a slightly cloudy golden orangey appearance. Some sediments are visible. Aromas of bready malts, resin and earthy hops. Flavours are malty, some bready malts and spices, some subtle earthy notes. Great retention.

Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. Is this a tripel, or a blonde BSA, who knows? It pours a clouded medium gold colour with a rocky white head. The aroma is spice, yeast, citrus, and grains. The flavour is dominated by the grains and the citrus, but the yeast is ever present in the background.

The beer pours a hazed medium gold colour with a quarter inch snow white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is yeast, grass, some citrus, and a touch of honey. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. Flavour is sweet, grainy with notes of honey and yeast. Quite enjoyable. -

Wishlist, if only for it being from one of the Trappist breweries that I haven't tried any offerings. Light orange gold color with a sustained white head and plenty of lacing. Good carbonation. Nice Belgian yeasts in the nose and flavors, sweet malts, bread, light ripe fruits, some light banana, a touch of black pepper, more malt sweetness, honey. Very satisfying and tasty. Been waiting to try this one. One more Trappist marked off the list.

Strong, malty aroma has a fruity overtone that is crisp and cider-like rather than sweet. Pours a bubbly clear solar yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. Crisp, malty flavor has a firm fruity note, mostly apple with a hint of pear, and a hoppy green wood undertone, just a little bitterness. Smooth flavor has good body and plenty of tingle. You go, monks!

A nice, Belgian blonde ale. A clean, yet slightly funky taste. Sets it apart from the standard Belgian ale. Sort of like a Duvel, but with the funk of a Trappist quadrupel added in. It's not easy to get this drink where I'm located, so when it was available, I had to get some bottles. If you're on a quest to sample all the authentic Trappist brews, this one shouldn't disappoint!

Nice amber brown colored beer with good foam head. Taste has elements of fruits which hide the strong alcohol content. Nice beer given to me by a friend, like the friend.

It pours a light golden with a thick and foamy white head with some lacing. An aroma of rich malts, light hops, lemon, lime, bitterness, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly rich. Flavors of fresh malts, hops, citrus and lemon/lime, bitterness, and light spices.

Pale golden and hazy. Creamy white head. Citric and yeasty aroma. Notes of lemonade, apples and pepper. Sweet and malty flavour. Notes of lemon, coriander, yeast and spices. Slightly medicinal finish.

nice doughey but light fruit aroma. big fluffy white head and great lacing. not overly spicy or yeasty. only a slight warming aftertaste lets you know it's 8%. the fruit esters in the flavor are nice. a refreshing easy drinking trappist ale.
