Dark brown colour with a hazy ruby-copper highlights. The head is big, warm-beige, froth, very long lasting with some foamy patches. Chocolate malt aromas with some mild coffee and hints of nuttiness. Some good bitterness, herbal bite in the taste over the darker malts base. Decent dryness and grassiness, anise lingering. A very nice robust porter with lots of bitterness.
