Enjoyed May 19, 2023 at the brewpub. Darker brown colour with copper highlights, a bubbly light-beige head and good cloudy lacing. You can taste the maple sap as soon as it hits your lips, with an added sweetness from the wheat, that lingers banana notes. Hints of chocolate malt. The nose show the bananas-wheat with the maple coming after breathing. The base shows some fruity and chocolate malts. The mouthfeel is wet, slightly sticky, but with a cutting, dry finish. Tart is left, a tad wood. Even bitterness shows up late, but present. Not a bad brown ale with maple and lot more happening.
