A very slight haze, rich golden colour with a frothy off-white head, good retention and thick foamy lacing lines. Caramel-grain malt base with a touch of pine, grapefruit zest and tad candy. The taste shows some of this, but all well-blended with not too much bitterness, and almost Belgian sugar to calm things from the West Coast style. Some tea leaves blending away, but not too much bitterness. More like building dryness, sip after sip. Quite a nice, smooth Double IPA, lightly on the West Coast-style - that goes down nicely.
