With the permission (and blessing) of Avery Brewing Company, Boulder Colorado. Brewed with 25 pounds of unsweet Swiss chocolate and 150 pounds of fresh raspberries then aged in a Bourbon Barrel for 6 weeks. This one is not for the timid. Limited Supply - Get it while you can!

Comes out of the tap a dark, opaque chocolaty brown with a thick, tan, fluffy head. Malty aroma has a good undertone of chocolate and just a hint of raspberry. Flavor is rich and malty with a nice alcohol zing like a barley wine and touches of unsweet chocolate and raspberry. Finish is pleasingly smooth and fizzy. I am glad that I managed to catch this one!
