This is a traditional English style Nut Brown. It's slightly higher in gravity than our Pale Ale and gets its deep walnut hue from rich Belgian caramel malts and dark roasted British malts. English Fuggle hops are used in both the kettle and "dry hopped" during maturation to give our Nut Brown an earthy, balanced bitterness and a delicate fresh hop aroma, without that over-hopped bite. This is an excellent beer for the colder months and goes well with mussels, lamb and the richer, fuller flavored cheeses.

Pours transparent Coca-Cola brown with a nice light tan head. Aroma presents nice roast malt, earthy and nutty tones. Satisfying flavor starts with roast malt and adds nutty, caramel, earthy and subtle chocolate notes. Mouthfeel presents average fizz but firm body. Go nuts!

This is an excellent brown. It's got layers of malty complexity. Just a little hint of coffee supports a nice small chocolate nuts. There's just enough hops to keep it from being too sweet. I also got a little bit of prune going on, but not in a bad way. I thought this was an excellent brown ale.

A nice session ale here. I caught alot of sour notes in this which was not expected. This beer has a good nutty flavor. Another good one from 5 Sizzions!
