Dark with Ruby highlights around the side of the glass. The rye adds a spicy dryness while the raw molasses imparts a dark smokiness in the background. We named it after the lawyer who helped get the growlers here at 5 Seasons. First time we’ve ever named a beer after a lawyer!

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

Taps cola brown that lets a little daylight peek through at the bottom. Light tan head is thin but serviceable. Aroma offers roast malt, molasses and rye tones. Flavor features more rye, along with roast malt and molasses from the aroma, and spicy and woody undertones. Mouthfeel features decent body and good fizz. Thanks, Harper, for allowing 5 Seasons to sell growlers - now I need an excuse to take one home.
