We are very excited to introducing a new series here at 46 North, the Zodiac Series! If you haven’t figured out by now, our brewmaster loves IPA’s. This series will focus on ingredients never previously used here at 46, or in some cases, hop combinates never tried before either. Our forth release in this series is Gemini. This beer utilized hops from South Africa called African Queen that produced huge notes of fresh orange and stone fruits. This was our first time using hops from that part of the world, and most likely will not be our last considering how delicious this beer is.

    Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7

Hazy, golden with an orange hue, a white creamy-frothy cap, decent lasting and leaving a lot of sticky-creamy lacing. Aromas are mild, blending citrus notes and watermelon. A tad vanilla comes out with time. Honeymelon taste with hints of peaches, and some citrus zest. The mouthfeel is wet, not too thick and the dryness is lighter. An interesting, refreshing NEIPA with African Queen hops which is milder, but different than the citrusy norm.
