Well... Color as advertised, a beautiful intense ruby red. Immediate pungent aroma of bright tart cherries and an underlying stinky cheese. Flavor is more than adequately sour, very fruity and intense as well, with the cherry/funk balance done to near perfection. Dam smooth toom carbonation just right, and the abv (which happens to be 5.0) is irrelevant. This could have been 3% or 9% and the flavor would have made it so you didn't even notice. Super friggin expensive, but a real treat. Up there with Cantillon Lou Pepe in the ranks of the best krieks.

Beer Five of my Twelve Beers of Christmas. Purple ruby pour, not unlike the color of concord grape juice, with a pink bubby head, lazy lacing throughout. Good carbonation. Initially a tart and sour cherry nose with plenty of wild funky yeasts, calming to a almost over-ripe cherry and berry flavor with a nice tart and funk underpalate. Fantastically cherry and tart, funky and yeasty. Very nice near-sour bitter linger. Very very nice lambic.
