Sampled at GABF on 9/17/2010. This stout pours a dark black color from the tap. Medium sized tan foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and a hint of wood. A medium to full bodied stout. The hops are earthy and herbal. Nice carbonation. Very smooth taste. Slightly sweet at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
