This was the second beer on our visit to Brooklyn. The beer is dark brown, almost black. The head is brown, creamy, and not too thick. Coffee is everywhere in the aroma. It is supported by weak notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and anise. Body is full, mouthfeel is creamy. Taste is roasted malt and coffee. One can also taste a little bit of vanilla and licorice too.
