Cocoa nibs, and lactose sugar create a rich chocolate flavor and a creamy texture. Vanilla, roast and caramel sweetness are met with a bright hop bitterness.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9

Pours opaque coffee brown with a minimal tan head. Aroma offers coffee, chocolate, roast malt and subtle molasses tones. Flavor reflects all this while adding some cocoa character. Mouthfeel features good fizz and body. Hunt it down.

Pours a dark brown/black color with a rocky dark tan head that coats the side of the glass throughout consumption. Dark chocolate dominates the aroma with deeply roasted malt and a hint of vanilla. Strong dark chocolate taste with roasted malt, vanilla, a hint of coffee and earthy hops. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. One of the best Milk Stouts I have ever tasted. I just recently discovered this brewery (it's only a year old) and hope to try out some of their other beers. Good stuff! Glad that my 200th review is a memorable one.
