"i like the label....bats and all...this is a beer that pours dark tan with good head...is pretty clean for a dunkel...smooth and refreshing but alittle off the tracks."

Pours very dark brown/amber with little head or carbonation. Aroma is very light and mild for the color. Mouthfeel is fairly thick and full, but clean at the same time. Very big, bold flavor, tastes like it looks...dark, full, and satisfying! Good balanced flavor...hearty and full, with a slightly metallic finish (not necessarily bad here). Finishes nice and bitter like a real ale should! Lots of complex flavor in this one. Overall, very good! Shiner seldom disappoints!
