Pours opaque sable with a thick and fairly persistent dark tan head. Aroma delivers smoky, woody, earthy, roast malt, semi-sweet chocolate, even subtle cheese notes. Flavor trots charred wood, smoky roast malt, barbecue, earthy, and subtle chocolate and cheesy tones, unusual and intriguing. Mouthfeel offers up good body and fair fizz. Smoke on the porter, and barley in the sky.
