This brew has a wonderful, unfiltered cloudiness - deep gold in color. It had a full and lasting head with fantastic lacing. The sourness mentioned by previous reviewer, Aracauna, was actually a real plus in my experience. Because of its slight sourness, this tasted much more like a Belgian White Ale than a traditional Hefe. Very fresh feel, taste and aroma. Without a doubt, Old Whiskers will be a regular at my house!

Cloudy, slightly coppered amber with an airy head that settles slowly. The clove rises over the banana, and there’s an odd sourness to the aroma that’s just a little off-putting. The flavor is a strong hunk of wheat that gives the impression of thickness without actually being heavy. It’s a bit like the crusts of fresh baked wheat bread. The bananas linger underneath in a subtle fruitiness. Not a bad hefe and definitely not a cop out.
