aka "Duggan's Sorachi Lager" at the LCBO in smaller 275ml single bottle (luckily, one was alone beside their 6-pack). Pours a light golden colour with a small white head that disappears quickly. Real cereal malt scent... yeah, the real stuff - no corn. Pretty decent aromas for a light beer. Light-bodied and mildly carbonated. The taste though is kind of weird. Lightly malty, but with rice (it seems) in the aftertaste. Too bad the nice cereal present in the nose is not really showing in the taste. Still, a better than most macro light beers.

Starts off with this weird taste like burnt buttered popcorn, but grows on you after awhile. Smells worse out of the glass than straight out of the bottle - the 7 is for the for that otherwise it'd be a 5

A very pale dry lager. Decent cap for a "dry" (rice) lager, Aroma is spicy from the Sorachi hops and the rice gives a faint fruity-cereal note. Spritzy, dry, clean, nice sharp dry finish. Great little patio beer for quaffing a few on hot days. A Pale dry (rice) beer micro brewed the right way - decent flavor for such a light dry beer.

When I saw that this was brewed with rice I was thinking that it was going to be BAD. I was wrong. It was a delightfully refreshing beer. Pale golden in colour, slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma of ripe banana and citrus and floral hops.
