Magnat is profoundly bland. It’s a bit like drinking slightly hoppy tonic water. There are no bad off notes, besides a musty hop aroma. It’s pale yellow in color with a dissipating but not terrible head. The beer has little detectable aroma. I can barely even smell it while I’m drinking. The flavor is light malt sweetness with a nice, refreshing hop bite in the finish. It’s not really bad in any particular way, but it’s very light even for 5.3% abv. This beer could be .53% abv and I wouldn’t be surprised. The lightness and mild hop bite make this a very easy beer to drink. A cold glass of Magnat would be quite refreshing on a hot day.

Wow, first and for most, this beer has more skunk than any other brew I have had in a while. The aroma is all skunk with maybe some grainy notes as well as some saaz hops as well as some sweetness and smells like stale corn flakes. The appearance is a very pale yellow in color with some interesting greens hues when held to the light with a head on top that is medium-sized but diminishes very quickly to a white lacing that sticks to the glass. The mouthfeel is light-bodied and very simplistic with a palate that is very thin and watery. The flavor is skunky, grainy, of corn, as well as is sweet with an aftertaste that is metallic and a finish that is synthetic. Overall, a pretty bad brew here for sure and full of skunk bombs and quite possibly may be a drain pour if I can't muscle through this one.

Bottle. Golden colour with a frothy, fast diminishing, white head. Aroma has corn and hops and is a touch metallic. Nothing much going on in the taste department; some fruit, some hops, slight bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, but pretty crisp and clean.
