Typical wheaty Hefe-Weissbier aroma, with notes of banana and cloves. Flavour of wheat, citrus, banana and cloves, minimal bitterness. Refreshing.

April 2015: Cask stillage / gravity dispense, half pint, at The City Arms, Cardiff. Deep golden colour, slightly hazy. Minimal head. Sweetish malty aroma, notes of caramel and fudge. Caramel and fudge in the flavour too, but not overly sweet. The hops are very moderate though.

November 2020: 330 ml can, as Magic Rock Murk-Life Balance Hazy Pale Ale, from Vinmonopolet Sola. ABV is 5.0%. Brewed with Australian hops, according to the brewery website. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Lovely and intense aroma of a wide range of tropical fruits, also citrus and spruce. Fairly light bodied. The flavour is more dry than sweet, moderate notes of pine needles, sprucetips and said fruits.

Fruity and medium sweet flavour, plenty of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips and pine needles, but the bitterness is moderate.

Aroma of fruity / citric and piney American hops, also some yeasty notes. Citric / grapefruity flavour, also notes of pine needles and resin, with a distinct bitterness in the finish, becomes nearly medicinal in the aftertaste. Some yeasty notes too.
