Funky aroma, notes of brettanomyces / farmhouse, oak, apple cider vinegar, sour dried apricots. Thin mouthfeel. Sour flavour, notes of lemons and sour dried apricots, hints of apple cider vinegar and oak. Suffers under the lack of carbonation. Not my cup of tea at all. Won't buy again.

Nice aroma of dry white wine, crushed white grapes, farmhouse kitchen, oak, lemons and white wine vinegar. Medium sour flavour, with the same elements as the aroma, tart finish. Not particularly great, though. Won't buy again.

Aroma of spicy saison yeast and yuzu fruit. Dry flavour (drier than the yuzu fruit deserves), yeasty with spicy and alcoholic notes, some bergamot. Would be better with less alcohol and a tad more sweetness.

February 2017: 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.3%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Fresh aroma of fruity and piney Galaxy hops, also some mild roasty notes, hints of coffee. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, distinct hops, but also more distinct roast malts here, with notes of strong bitter coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Plenty of bittering hops in the finish.

May 2018: 355 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 11.1%. Clear reddish brown colour, head goes from minimal to none. Aroma of malts, caramel, dark dried fruits, some vinous and oaky notes. The flavour is medium sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, moderate hops.

August 2014: Rerate. 660 ml bottle covered in red paper, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%. Original gravity 1090, final gravity 1015. Dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Very peaty aroma, also notes of sweetish malts and smoked meat. The flavour is medium sweet and very peaty / smokey. The bottle is for sharing! Original rating: Shared bottle at local tasting (from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam). ABV is 9%. Very dark brown colour. Intensely peaty aroma and flavour - the flavour is too peaty for me.

Hoppy flavour, fairly bitter, notes of grapefruit and pine needles, hints of tropical fruits. Good beer, but not as great as the hype made me expect.

Lovely and quite complex fruity aroma, notes of a wide variety of fruits, also spruce. Slightly sweet flavour, very hoppy, with a massive bitterness throughout. Bitter aftertaste too, nearly medicinal.

Moderate aroma of grapefruit, pine and spruce. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, with citrus (incl. grapefruit) and a resinous bitter finish.

Pleasant aroma of brown malts, brown kandij sugar, molasses and caramel, dark dried fruits, a hint of oak. The flavour is sweet and sugary (maybe too much), with the same notes as in the aroma. Minimal hops. Smooth to drink, the alcohol is well hidden.

Lovely aroma of yuzu fruit, lemons and farmhouse, hints of spices. Moderate carbonation. Flavour of yuzu, lemons, brettanomyces, hints of spices. Astringent. Very, very good.
