A beautiful beer, near perfection. Colour - dark red brown, murky, red edges, generous foamy brown cap. Aroma - dark malt, candy sugar, yeast, plums, and raisins. Mouthfeel - Full bodied. Flavour - A sweet elixer of yeast, spices, fruit, and malt. Overall - outstanding! If it wasn't $10-$12/bottle - this would be my new favourite!

Wow! Colour - hazy gold colour, huge generous rocky white cap. Aroma - yeast, citrus, spices, and some malt. Mouthfeel - Full bodied, but could be fuller. Flavour - peppry spices and yeast backed by notes of citrus and malt. Overall - wow! I could drink these all day (and evening).

Sampled this at a party - certainly not something I could afford myself Bottle is 5 years old. Colour - viscous, reddish brown, cloudy, no head. Aroma - alcohol...alcohol, butterscotch, and licorice. Mouthfeel - thick, creamy, smooth. Flavour - very sweet, caramel, candy sugary. Overall - an excellent rare treat.

2011 Bottle. Colour - solid black, 1" creamy head. Aroma - roast, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, and caramel. Mouthfeel - full bodied and creamy. Flavour - sweet malt, bitter coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Overall - heaven's to Betsy, this is an amazing stout, and affordable.

Bottle. Came with a plastic toy goat. Colour – dark brown, reddish hues, solid but transparent when held up to a light, light tan head, good lacing. Aroma – roasted malt, caramel, molasses, dark fruit, dark chocolate. Mouthfeel – medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour – sweet up front, bitter in the finish, no hint of alcohol. Well balanced. Great beer.

Big bottle. Colour - murky reddish brown, light seeps in at the edges, head is brown, creamy, and laces well. Aroma - Belgian yeast, chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits, candy sugar, and caramel. A lot going on. Mouthfeel - medium bodied, good carbonation. Flavour - bitter chocolate, dark fruit, a little spice. alcohol well hidden.

Flavour - sweet malt, backed by clove and citrus notes. Overall - excellent, turned out to be a great tune up for the heavier Schneiders yet to come.

Bottle. Colour – A very dark brown pour, almost black, with a creamy chocolate milk coloured head. Aroma – There is definitely oats in the mix, with some roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, and caramel. Mouthfeel – Creamy, well carbonated, full bodied in the truest sense of the term. Flavour – roasted malt notes with dark chocolate, coffee, and caramel. There is a bitter finish to balance the caramel sweetness. A great beer.

Mouthfeel - full bodied, well carbonated, slight creaminess. Flavour - Definite citrus hop presence, bread, spicy hops, light caramel, and yeast. Quite a good IIPA.

Mouthfeel - full bodied, well carbonated. Flavour - the strongest flavours are dark chocolate and coffee but there are notes of black licorice and charred nuts as well. Great beer.

Flavour - sweet dark fruit, yeast, sugar, and dark malt. Overall - outstanding! The three beers were quite similar (as their website states it's the exact same beer fermented different lengths that shouldn't be a surprise) and all hid their alcohol very well.
