    500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.0%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus, crushed green gooseberries and crushed white grapes. Citric flavour, a touch of pineapple, piney hints too, a moderate bitterness in the finish.

    500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus, papaya and pineapple. Citric flavour, some pineapple too, a hint of white peppercorn in the finish.

    355 ml can, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 10.1%. Black colour, no head. Aroma of moderately roasted malts, chocolate cake and chopped hazelnuts. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, also hints of mild coffee and brown sugar. Easy drinking for its strength.

    April 2018: 330 ml can, from Meny Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Nearly black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of mild coffee, chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. Light bodied. The flavour is medium dry, with notes of coffee and chocolate, a hint of vanilla and cinnamon.

    473 ml can, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 4.9%. Black colour, small beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malts, oatmeal, roasted nuts, hints of mild coffee and chocolate. Fairly dry flavour with the same elements, some bittering hops, bitter aftertaste.

    December 2018: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, exotic woodwork and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour with distinct notes of coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate.

    473 ml can, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 6.3%. Hazy golden to orange colour, moderate to small white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus and pine, a hint of mild spices. Plenty of citric and piney hops in the flavour too, on a sufficient background of sweetish malts. Bitter aftertaste.

    330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Herbarium. ABV is 8.4%. Cloudy yellow colour, moderate white head. Very nice aroma of citrus and various tropical fruits. Flavour also of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of sprucetips.

    375 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.5%. Deep brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, brown kandij sugar syrup, dark dried fruits, oak and brandy, hints of mild spices. Flavour with the same elements. Good beer, but not the very best in the series.

    Small sample from bottle, at private Christmas beer tasting. Deep red colour. Aroma and flavour of brettanomyces, oak, sour crab apples, sour cherries and blackcurrants. An interesting contrast to the other winter / Christmas beers we had.
