December 2018: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee, exotic woodwork and dark chocolate. Sweet flavour with distinct notes of coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate.

Growler pours murky chocolate brownie in color and supporting a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up rich chocolaty malts, fudge and wet to slightly earthy dark roasted coffee beans. Nice. The taste is sweet, thick malts to dark roasted malts and then into rich oily coffee beans with burned edges and followed by some booze enhanced fudge. This has a decent boozy note to remind you of the huge ABV. Yummers.

On tap at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Pitch black with a beige head. Roasty aroma with lots of dark, bitter chocolate, fresh coffee, some dark fruits, hints of wood and vanilla. Medium sweet with quite intense roasty flavours, very chocolaty with a fairly dry finish. Seems balanced somehow and the high alcohol is not too obvious. Tasty and dessert imperial stout - quite delicious!

Pours opaque coffee with a fair head. Aroma brings roast malt, pepper, coffee, subtle chocolate. Flavor offers roast malt, chocolate, coffee and pepper. Texture supplies nice body and peppy fizz. Speed to the bar for a glass.
