Beer appears a translucent reddish-gold colour with a creamy tan head that laces well. Aroma is grass, caramel, and fruity sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt, grain, fruit and hops. I felt it was more of an Marzen/Oktoberfest in flavour than a bock, but still quite good. -

The beer pours a slightly hazed orange-gold colour with a short-lived head. Aroma is citrusy hops, and some weak grass notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is grapefruity hops, some light fruit and graininess rounds out the palate. Very well balanced. -

The beer pours a semi-translucent browinsh-red colour with a thin tan ring for a cap. The aroma is nutty malt, spices, and fruit. Almost christmasy aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is sweet malt, some caramel, and a very bitter chocolate finish. The raisins are definitely shining through the flavour. -

A latecomer to the LCBO Fall Release program (just started showing up in stores this week). The beer pours a slightly hazed ruby red colour with a generous tan head that lasted a minute or so. Aroma is pumpkin, malt, funk and spices. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour is grainy malt, pumpkin, and spices. Well put together, but not outstanding. -

Pours a dark semi-translucent reddish brown with a rocky cap that laced well. Aroma is yeast, raisins, caramel and bread. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with good carbonation. Flavour is over sweet and syrupy (just as the label suggests). The raisin flavour is very strong. Flavour is rounded out with caramel tones. -

45th Birthday weekend beer (a 4 day weekend to boot) and it looks good. A coca-cola coloured pour, solid, with a half inch brown head. Hops are the dominant player in the aroma with weak hints of coffee and grass. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and creamy with ample carbonation. Flavour is grapefruit, coffee, and a lingering weak sourness that is just strong enough to detect. -
