The beer pours a hazed metallic gold with a thin white ring for a cap. The aroma was wheat, ginger, and herbs. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour was very reminiscent of a ginger pale ale, no sour notes to speak of.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a thin white head that disappears immediately. The aroma is very grainy with hints of phenol and metal. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grass, some acidic notes, and just plain bad.

The beer pours a semi-translucent reddish-brown with a 1/2 inch thin tan coloured head. The aroma is molasses, raisins, grains, and some caramelly notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet up front with hints of molasses and caramel, and a bitter in back with notes of yeast and grains. A very good beer, on par with the brewer's other offerings.
