The beer poured a translucent pale gold colour with a thin white ring for a head. Aroma was citrus, weal caramel, and grains. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour was similar to the aroma with grapefruit coming in the citrus notes. A solid IPA. -

Note: This beer is described as an Imperial Stout. While the bar I was at has been in contact with the brewer and it's rep in Canada due to the possibility of quality issues, the brewer insists that what's in the bottle is the proper beer. The beer poured a solid reddish-broen colour with a thin tan coloured head. The aroma was yeast, dark fruits, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with above average carbonation. The flavour was tart fruit and yeast, with some graininess. Despite what the brewer says, I believe that the beer I had was a sour Belgian Strong Ale and not an Imperial Stout as the bottle/label/brewer suggests. I have graded it as what it was supposed to be. -

The beer pours a coca-cola colour with a thin tan coloured rocky cap which lasts. The aroma is smoked wood, molasses and hints of licorice. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is sweet malt, molasses, and smoke. Quite drinkable for 6.5% -

The beer pours a hazed light rust colour with a half inch tan coloured head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, funky yeast, and spices. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with sharp carbonation. Flavour is very unlike the aroma with a salty bitterness replacing the sweetness. Weak caramel and yeast also noted in the palate. -

The beer appears to be a Black IPA with Belgian yeast and pumpkins......lots and lots of pumpkin. The pours a coca-cola black with brown edges when held to the light and a minimal head. The aroma is heavy on pumpkin with other spices, citrusy hops, and grass notes in the mix. Mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with mild carbonation. Flavour was dominated by the yeast and the pumpkin with the grain in the background. Flavourful and refreshing, but not something I would session with. -

The beer pours a solid dark brown with black edges and a 1" creamy tan coloured cap. Aroma is roasted malt, weak hints of vanilla and coffee also present. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated....on the thin side for a stout. Flavour is roasted malt, some slight dark chocolate notes present. Not a bad beer. -

The beer poured a dark brownish-red with a creamy tight head, tan in colour, that laced well down the glass. Aroma was nutty malt, caramel, and earthy hops. The mouthfeel was medium-full with average carbonation. The flavour was nuts, caramel, grains, and some earthy hops. Best beer of the night. -

The beer pours a translucent gold colour with a fluffy white cap that quickly disappears, and mild effervescence. The aroma is biscuity malt, some citrusy hops, and light fruit tone. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with average carbonation. Flavour is slightly sweet and spicy, with grains dominating the flavour. Not bad, but I think the sweet spicy notes I am tasting would get tiresome after a while. -

This is all the rage with a former girlfriend (from Saskatchewan) and seeing it as a single at a local LCBO I had to try and see what the fuss was about. It pours a pale gold colour with a white fluffy head and a lot of effervescence. The aroma is grain/corn, diacetyl, and weak hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavour is quite grainy, but that's expected for a macro lager.
