The head poured nice, but was gone instantly as the huge bubbles dissapated. Some bubbles and fizziness were persistant, though. The hops subsided by the end of the bottle and I could enjoy some mild maltiness (and a bit of corn?). I really hope this is the kind of brew Budweiser Select is going to be...but then again...I know it won't.

Schlafly, where did you go wrong?! This 'hefeweizen' is fairly aromatic and pours a nice head, like all should. But somewhere this beer falls short, its watery, while still being hazy, and just doesn't deliver much flavor, even for a wheat beer. While what it does deliver is good and expected, there's just too little.

Thank the Lord this was free (at the brewery of course). This was really nothing special in any way. In every way it was similar to Budweiser, even more so than Mich Light or anything else.

Another good ESB, this is certainly better than Redhook, but not as disticnctive as Schlafly's. Good on all fronts, and very solid beer. Pretty persistant head, and nice and bitter.

Based on what others have wrote I think mine may have been mishandled. This was a bland, but smooth amber ale. Trace lacing, nice amber color, but this tasted just too malty and yeasty for me. Faint hops and not much sweetness nor spice, maybe I'll have to try it again.

This beer seemed a bit conflicted to me. A some hefeweizen character, but still it really reminded me of an American Wheat and it didn't seemt to quite measure up to either. It was still tasty and a pretty beer to look at, but nothing I'll hunt out again.

This beer delivers what it promises. I didn't want to classify it as as light/lite lager or a swill lager as I couldn't taste any adjunct or other funkiness, it really tasted like beer. A dry and hoppy lager that's more worth passing around than hogging for yourself.

I would say that I'm shocked an apalled, that I cannot believe this passes as beer in this country, but I actually do. In a country where McDonald's makes 'burgers' and BMC make 'beer' this is not even a little surprise, more of an inevitabilty. They might have had better luck marketing it as bottled water, seriously it seems like a waste of brown glass to me.

Helluva brew. This is an excellent, yet standard, APA. Although I do have a soft spot for APAs for some reason. This isn't quite as good a Sierra Nevada PA, but on par with a Schlafly. Nice and sweet crisp malt and the typical hop character. I've seen anywhere from nearly none to plentiful lacing, which I guess depends on the pour. This beer offers nothing special, but it is still damn good.

What a tasty brew, of course I love honey and I love any brew with wheat in it, so this was quite a match. While too light and seems almost airy, but is certainly sweet and refreshing, with just a bit of hop zing (did I say zing?) to it.
