That time of year again...2016 Beer Goals

General Beer Discussion by BEERDOG

Happy New Year, Beerpals. Let's have your beer goals for 2016. Myself, the usual "more countries, more states", plus to enjoy more of the top 100 rated beers on BP. Also need to get cracking on my backlog of un-entered beer and retailer reviews (some go back to October 2014).

A Happy New Year to all!! In addition to getting all of the states, would like to visit at least 3 breweries in 2016.

Visit the local breweries that are opening. Beer from more countries. Pair more foods with different beers. Cook with beer more often. Visit Wisconsin again. Another beer-centric vacation/trip. Hootenanny 2016.

Racing less and doing more beer travel these days. Already have a Bend trip planned in 2 weeks, and SF Beer Week the following weekend. 4th annual SOURBOWL at my house on 2/7, and a possible drive to Santa Rosa for THE YOUNGER sometime during the following week. Sacramento beer week the first weekend in March. Asheville and Athens, GA the first weekend in April. After that, who knows?

Try to keep momentum on the very little to no beer during the weekdays thing... enjoy on the weekends, but keep to 4 or less even in some of those outings.

I'll shoot ya a Facebook message when details get ironed out. We'll likely stay the first in Athens, and the 2nd & 3rd in Asheville. 4th will either be there or Athens or Atlanta, where were flying in and out.

To have less than 10% attendance on the site. It needs to be reset because it shows 14% from last year.

Try more styles. Visit more local breweries. Already have a disc golf/brewery vacation planned in April with stops at Pulpit Rock and Toppling Goliath in Decorah, IA and at Fulton, Town Hall and Surly in Minneapolis.
