WARNING: Walmart Swai = Bad Fish.

Non-Beer Discussion by KENDOSURF

I returned a partly-consumed frozen package of Swai today...I ate it twice, and got sick twice. [:p][xx(][:(] Symtoms: Extreme digestive upset, followed by feeling feverish and slight chills...much like a 24 hour bug. I thought maybe that's what it was. I called in to work and went to bed. Last night I ate Swai again. THE SAME RESULTS AS BEFORE !!! Right now I feel like I'm getting over "the bug" but I now know the cause. http://fishlaboratory.com/fish/swai-fish

A symbol is NOT the same thing as what it represents. But there IS a definite correlation. If a symbol means different things to different people...who am I to say that MY view is THE view? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbvDRY0O30E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGKD-hjpn2Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltm82BCnh2s ------------------------ [8)] Oh btw...I learned today that Gay Marriage had been approved in the US on June 26. Obviously I hadn't been keeping track. Christian view = We are now a Pagan nation...never mind Modernism, Post-Modernism, etc. I don't hate gay people for being gay, but governmental approval is a killer for the poor souls in bondage to this self-destructive lifestyle. Maybe this answers the flag issue. I knew of the Confederate flag as representing Racists, Rebels, and Motorcycle Gangs. I was a rebellious sort backintheday, but I don't think I ever embraced the Confederate flag? [8)] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tash7XtDCyM

Whenever I see the Stars & Bars, I'm reminded of Budapest, 1956... No, you CANNOT leave the Union, or the Soviet tanks will roll all over your ass.

If we really had equal treatment under the law, i.e. equal taxation without regard to marital status, would same-gender marriage ever have been an issue? [?]

I think the State should get the heck out of the marriage business and dissolve all surrounding laws and regulations, including tax structures around it.

Of course. Marriage became a legal arrangement many years ago. I would not have married my girlfriend if it were possible for her to use my health insurance. Continue to share my life with her until this day? Certainly. Married? Probably not. It is about f'n time we let gay and lesbian couples share that same legal arrangement. ...unless, of course, we just discard the whole thing altogether, as Eagle suggested.

The only two consistent positions on the issue.
