meanwhile back at the prostate...reason I am a Chevron gas fan ( and Texaco) was once upon a time I was working in a Shell refinery and the Engineer with our Boiler maker crew (Union!) told us " I don't use Shell gas...Chevron Texaco way to go"...so there I was at the radiologist, and this fellow, an Egyptian bloke..looks like a Pharaoh outta central casting tells me" don't do radiation..surgery is for you"..sure you all get the metaphor! On the 12th I go and get me marching orders...Ole Pharaoh the doc ask how I was handling all this..told him I am Catholic...tells me "So am I you know what we believe happens when we die? We are FUCKING DEAD..don't fuck around stay in the sunshine long as you can"...Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die. Arrrr
So...prostate cut out...all went well till I got an infection on ole Jumbo and it persist..tooo much information...the question is when all is said and done will Jumbo go to the circus again? It will be a bit before they find out if "they got it all"...we see...turned 66 on the 16th...got a crop going...same ole Brad gf got me couple 6ers of Leffe Blonde for bday..mates brought Lagunitas Lill Sumptin...front yard tomatoes look GREAT...I gotta get back over the pond when harvest is done...

Now THAT'S a friggin success story! Dang... They are partly responsible for gettin me hooked, and Chocolate Bock will always be a favorite.
The Audacity of Hops recommended read for any craft beer lover. Essentially covers the history of the rise of craft beer starting around the time of Fritz Maytag's purchase of Anchor. Great book and after reading you will understand and appreciate what many of these people have done to succeed. I have a new found respect for Mr. Koch among many others.
