Some of us have enough to say to make up for those shy fellows ;) Ahh, just kidding. I agree Flash. It shouldn't be very easily obtained and like the idea re: the forum posts.

Can you add these totals to the My Profile page? I like the idea of increasing the Compass

I tend to agree but I only have around 70 forum posts but I would like members to be more active and to use the beer compass. I am a level 2 Beer Guru, will this new ranking system make me loose my rank?

In Reply To #6 If I do adjust the system, then yes, you would lose your rank. But so would everyone else. You'd reach 100 forum posts eventually. Heck, you'll probably reach it before the changes even go into effect :)

If that is the case than I would have to break with what others are saying. I think the ranking system is fine and if someone really wants to participate, they will. Afterall, I worked hard for my rank I have and it feels good to know I have had and reviewed as many beers as I have.
