Non-Beer Discussion by GEZATRON
So we've all seen some great shows in the past, but what have you all got coming up? What are you looking forward to? Right now I've got the Monkees (the 3 remaining ones, anyway : A Midsummer’s Night With the Monkees http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/30/monkees-announce-new-tour_n_3184838.html) in mid-August... Can't wait! And I'm going to see Heart at Bumbershoot at the end of August. Those are the only ones I've got coming up right now, but that might change.

THEY ARE ALL BELGIANS!
Thanks everybody, this really si a great beer site, ain't it To answer the question, My father worked as a Brouwerij van Alken rep for years (the brewery had a merger in the 80s to become Alken-Maes, were bought by Scottish and Newcastle in 2000 and transferred to Carlsberg/Heineken in 2007) so I've always been around Belgian beer, and my parents, being Belgian, didn;t think much of American drinking restrictions so my siblings and I have been enjoying beer, mainly Belgian beer, since our early teens. In 2006, I became a sales rep for Alken-Maes (although techincally Alken-Maes no longer exists, we are now 'Heineken') and today I travel the world selling Heineken products. I've tried over 3,000 different Belgian beers, many of which aren't listed on websites, BeerPal, or RateBeer. I'm slowly going to add ones I know were commercially available away from the breweries in question. I submitted a request months ago to have the Alken-Maes ownership information updated as they haven't been independent in over a decade, but it still shows as being independent. That would include Mort Subite (previously owned by Alken-Maes now owned by Heineken), and Louwage (previously owned by Alken-Maes and now owned by Heineken).
