# of beer reviews

Website Comments by FOGHORN65

I see where E did 544 reviews in a month and Vac did 360. That's an average of 18 and 12 different beers a day respectively for a month. I wouldn't even know where to find that many different brews much less drink that many consistently for that long. Is this shit for real. I'm just curious.

In Reply To #1 They entered that many beers into the database in one month's time. I have heard that some try to review hundreds of beers over 2-3 days at GABF, though.

In Reply To #1 Just because the reviews were made in one month, or day, doens't mean they drank them all during that time! Both of them were adding reviews that they made over several years, before they joined the site. There are a whole bunch of members who have done the same thing.

Yeah, Like Flash said, Vac and I both had a number of reviews stored away. So when we found this site we are able to get them uploaded rather quickly. I think a few new members also did the same this month... I think the best I did was this past October when I tasted 105 different samples. Of course that was the month GABF took place, and I was able to get about 30 or 40 that weekend alone. But overall, 105 a month really isnt that much.

In Reply To #4 Yup...the most I've ever actually rated in one month is 92 and that was when I went to a festival and a few private tastings all in one month. I usually only have maybe 40 or 50 samples a month.

I'm sorry if I sounded accusatory, but now you've set me straight. I was starting to think I was some kind of light weight. It all makes sense now. I've actually looked at a few other beer rating sights and didn't find too much to intrest me there. Beerpal is the place to be. Cheers.
