Hi Folks, This is an open letter to the community here! Feel yourselves a focus group "a la" Budweiser Super Marketing Consortium LLP. Bad Mitch jokes aside, I am happy to annouce that I will be bringing Craft Beer to Kamloops and open the first Beer Bar that is not its own brewery here. We will have 20 taps all rotating and a small bottler cellar (Rochefort 8's are ordered to be aged in the dark and cool!!) Anyways, my partner and I have had a struggle with the name for the last couple months and now I want to put out the shortlist to you all and see if anyone likes any in particular, or if anyone has always had a pub name in their minds that they want to share now. The short Five were: Cask and Kitchen 20 Taps The Bee and Thistle (after my families crest) Head The Deans Yard (across the street from the University and we have a lawn) But I think its really between: The Bee and Thistle 20 Taps Head Any feedback?

I like the Bee and Thistle, although the Deans Yard would work given your location.

I think the Bee and Thistle is the best out of that. I agree with Heemer that 20 Taps seems to limit your future. I don't know if it's a pub anywhere but I've always thought The Captain's Cask was a good name for a pub. The Abbey is a good one too, esp if you will be focusing on Belgian-ish beers (you mentioned Rochefort 8).
