The Pittsburgh Pirate

Non-Beer Discussion by EAGLEFAN538

Totally classy guy, up there in my book with Larry Fitzgerald. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-league-stew/andrew-mccutchen-tweets-powerful-picture-humble-beginnings-211822650--mlb.html Enjoy the diamond in the rough of your organization. A Clemente type of guy. They don't fall off trees in professional sports.... or professional anything much anymore.

Fun player to watch. We all wish this guy was on our team. Easy to be a fan of his.

I would say 80-90% of the Dominican players have similar upbringings, although it's getting better because of the high success rate in MLB and most of those players give back. I don't know much about McCutchen since he's a NL guy, but his stats don't lie and seems like one of the good guys. Can't help but be happy for success like that.

Funny you mention Fitzgerald. Probably my favorite player not on the Giants. I feel for him, in the purgatory of Arizona, and admire him, all at the same time. Yeah, I'd love to have McCutchen hitting 1st or 2nd in NY...
