Brewery Discussion by KINGER
Started hitting oHIo shelves this week!
Can't wait to dive right in seeing how Ten Fidy and Old Chub are the only ones I've had to date.

I love Deviant Dale but it is definitely pricey. IF you're not in the market for a whole 4-pack, hopefully you can snag a single somewhere. It's totally worth it. Yum!

So I got a sixer each of the Pils & Pale ale today, these along with sixers of Old Chub are $9 which falls within normal now a days. Old Chub is probably the only one out of this bunch I'll revisit from time to time. Dale's Pale Ale is very nice, but not extraordinary compared to other standards and I can get Prima Pils a buck or so cheaper which is a MUCH better beer. Ten Fiddy @ $14 a 4-pack and the Deviant Dale IPA & G'Night @ $13 a 4-pack made me do a discount double check. Don't see these offerings flying off the shelves in the not so distant future here in oHIo with so much other goodness available. $13 for 4 cans of IPA or a hoppy amber.........REALLY?

I think all Oskar Blues beers are worth the price as an occasional treat, as each is among the best in-style, but yeah, the price point keeps me from always having them on hand. Ain't cans supposed to be cheaper? [;)]

OB arrived in Kaintucky 2 weeks ago. I stopped in Molly Malone's for a bite and was pleasantly surprised to see Dale's, Deviant Dale's and Ten Fidy on tap! Cool! [8D]

Canfest last night had all their standard brews. The funny thing was they were fresher than I've EVER seen them I stores, here or in CA. DeviantDales and GNight were canned 12 days ago. Soooooo good.

For a recent entry into the local market, they're coming on strong, even in local Kroger stores already!

I've heard the same people say a $10-12 four pack is pricey, but a $5-6 bombersod quality beer Is a steal. The beer makes a difference of course, but let's assume high quality...I'd rather pay $2.50-3 in a pck for a beer than the same per ounce, or often more, for a large bottle. Not only do you get to have it multiple times, but it's usually Cheaper per ounce. 1st example off the top of my head... FW Double Jack... $6.50-7.50 for 22 oz or $10-12 for 4 x 12 oz?

Ran a half marathon in Longmont last week that almost ran right by the Tasty Weasel. It was a very good stop. Hard to beer their hoppy stuff brewery fresh. And they make their own root beer too :)
