Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA

Beer Discussion by SLOWRUNNER77

BeerPal Notice: This topic was created for discussion of the beer Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA. Nobody has had this yet? I was thinking it would go into Stone's regular distribution, but I was apparently very wrong... [V]

A limited amount has landed in Reno. I'll never quite understand distribution. But...if my friend can step up and pick up our allotment on the way to my house tonight, we shall be enjoying this hopalicious beverage shortly.

Never met a Beerpal that I didn't already know outside the site. So met 5 then, but would love to meet up with other Beerpals, especially those out here is Cascadia!
And here's one more...I met up with Mitch the other night at Whiskey Creek in Bishop. This was my first meet-up with a Beerpal and it was a special kind of awesome. We shared some local (Mammoth Brewing) beers and talked beer. Good times. Mitch passed some beers on to me from Phishpond, which means that BPs are awesome even when met vicariously. This is the only site I have ever been a member of, and this ^^ is exactly why I have stayed.

There is now a strong local craft beer group that has regular tastings. That has made the local beer scene much more enjoyable. That being said, whenever I meet up with my BeerPal brethren there has been a special camaraderie that exists. PfoxyJohn is now known as Beer Santa in East Tennessee. The last HOOTENANNY consisted mostly of a mix of BeerPals and local craft beer advocates; and it was the best HOOTENANNY to date! I've only got a couple of locals to try out BeerPal and they aren't active members although they have signed up as "BeerPals". A couple of my locals are planning on traveling to Wisconsin with me on the next Bar(n) visit. That's how strong BeerPals are: they lure all craft beer enthusiasts. Have met and shared beers with BeerPals: PfoxyJohn Phishpond fargingbastige caddylac Pyuke fretwalker kinger FoamDome Clash heybeerman BeerHunter and Beer Babe Slim Jim Sassy flashpro mwiscount and have traded with lots more. Feel like I know lots more of y'all. Great place to pull up a seat and talk beer, sports, music, and life. Cheers!

Yes my recent trip stateside had us drinking beer with Jayson and his bud Guy which was totally awesome to be in a completely foreign place and meet up for some beer. I can say the IPA from Mammoth was quite good. Never did get to try an Indian Wells though ;) !!! Also met up with Travis at the Commons on this trip, and he was totally helpful, accommodating, friendly and generous! Even sent me beer to take to Jayson! So inclusing the western canadians I am up to 7 beerpals met now!
