" Beer Cities "

I was thinking about this just now and I'd like to see what everyone else thought. Why not create a forum like we did for beer and food discussion called "Beer Cities". I know we have the regional forums, but they're not frequented much. If someone clicks on the "Beer Cities" forum then lots of info will pop up about a city a person may be interested in visiting or can provide useful beer-info about. Any thoughts?

I second the motion. I travel rather frequently and would love to have that kind of info at my finger tips. First thing I do when I find out I'm going somewhere is to start a beer/bar/pub search.

I had to think about this one for a bit. I think it's a good idea actually. Since the beer compass here really isn't a top notch tool (yet), it might be beneficial to a traveler/BP who is looking for current info/spots on a certain city or region.

That's it? Alright, well maybe we should have a poll for this idea.

Of course this is what I always use when I'm in search of good beer, but it would be nice to have a designated city section where BPers can share their favorite spots.

Thanks, Kinger, I needed that! I can go anywhere, anytime, with no notice. About a month ago, I was coming home from North Dakota, through Wisconsin, and I would've gladly paid double to find a decent beer store convenient to I-94! Ended up in a liquor store in Milwaukee, and still dropped a hunny, but I'm sure I could've done better!
