Only 10 kegs are in the US- and only 21 pubs across the world will have some... Nice. A few years ago I probably would have made the drive to Chicago for this. Cool idea anyway! [:p]

I drove 11 hours to be at PfoxyJohn's OkotberPfist last year. It was Epic and it was worth the drive. Will go again, not for just the beer but for the camaraderie and the food. Good times.

Not a lambic fan, but even if I was, I still wouldn't travel more than 30 minutes for it. There is nothing so great about anything on this planet that would make me want to drive more than 30 minutes for it.
I agree, I wouldn't drive that far for one or two beers. But for me, trips like that usually involved meeting other people, buying other beers at local stores, visiting local brewpubs and beer bars. At least for me anyway. I gave up chasing limited release beers myself years ago, but I think it is great that others have the desire and means to attend these special events! [:)]

there's ALL KINDS OF STUFF I'll drive 30 minutes (or much more) for!

Geez....Even driving 70 mph, thirty minutes can't even get me close to a grocery store.

I'm about 20 minutes away from the local 3 breweries, 45 minutes from 50 50 in Truckee, 2 1/2 hours from Sierra Nevada, 3 1/2-4 hours to Napa or the bay area, and a little further to Russian River, Bear Republic, North Coast (5 1/2) etc...nothing for a long ways south or east. Bend, OR is north, but about 7 hours north.
