While doing my Ph.D in Memphis, as part of the program, we had to teach microbiology to 2nd year med students. I got into an argument with one such student over the spelling of that word........he insisted on stating that it started with a 'z'. X = Z. That is true in Tennessee. My ex makes me Zzzzzzz.

Wow, that is crazier than how all the engineers in Oregon think that 'heighth' is a real word. Drives me nuts!
