Anyone have any good examples of wheat beer they have tried.

Paulaner is one of my favorites and is much better on tap than bottled (which is true for most beers). Widmer Bros. is OK and for some god forsaken reason Pyramid seems to be really popular at bars and restaurants here in So. California. Not very good by my assessment.
I second that statement on Pyramid. Paulaner is fantastic, as with many others everyone has listed. Yet I continually find Pyramid Hefe on tap at many of the restaurants and pubs that have a decent selection. It's just not very good. I guess that means theres gotta be someone out there that actually enjoys it. I think it's probably more of a hefe for the masses.
Shiner Hefeweizen is a great beer and a smooth wheat beer. I recently tried Purple Haze Rasberry Wheat and it was not that bad but very different than most wheat beers I have had. Blue Moon wheat beer is also good and was one of the better ones I have had. I just got Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic and look forward to trying it, any of you guys had cranberry lambic before? Thoughts?
In Reply To #27 Thoughts on cranberry lambic? Well, hmmm. Let me think of a nice way to put it.... hmm... I got nothing, it sucks. It tastes like something Smirnoff would bottle and call Cranberry XXX or something. Lambic? Pffffft, not even close. It's a fucking wine cooler, a malternative, gabage, also, it's not so good. I hope you don't have too many on your hands, chances are you'll end up drain pouring them, or giving them to an unsuspecting neighbor. Really, not so good. Of course, your opinion may differ, but if you die from false advertising, don't say I didn't warn you.
I just tried the cranberry lambic. It definitely did not taste like beer but I gave it "some" good numbers because it is a bit of a novelty. I probably want get it again, it is something I want be able to get use to. Fortunately, I got it in a Christmas variety pack and it only came with two so I only have one more; I'll probably give it to one of the girls that come visit because it is a Smirnoff-like "beverage" right up thier alley.
