Looking for AleSmith IPA
Beer Swapping by GGRUMET
I'm looking for some AleSmith to trade for, either the IPA or the impy stout. I'm in the ass-backwards state of PA - I probably don't have a ton of beer that you all in CA can't get, but I have a nice stocked cellar that includes Bells Expedition from '06.

In December or January, I called Stone's distribution rep (out here Stone is the distributor) to ask where I could get it and he told me the two places in my area that would be getting a keg of Younger. oh it was so good.

if we figure out a time in the fall for the Colorado trip, I'll bring one for ya...it should be just about right by then. As soon as they figure out the county's 2009-2010 hours of operation, i'll be able to see when i can get off and let you know!

I meant I would like to have one of your speedways!!! Pliny the Elder does not impress me. That pains me because I love RR brews. Blind Big was so much better

Opening up a VERY old thread of mine. Got sick of the snarkiness on other sites so came back to where I started awhile back. Looking for nothing specific in particular, maybe barrel aged stouts/barleywines or wilds. Here's my cellar. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Agae6jb03ZwGdGI1ckY5VU1FZ3E0NlZRMU5lakRra0E#gid=0 I will admit that some of my stuff I'm hesitant to move. It would be cool to do a locals/locals trade - specifically with some west coast folks. cheers all

Nice cellar! Glad to have you back in Friendly Territory. I don't have anything to trade; just wanted to welcome you back to the fold and raid your freaking cellar. [:p]

Ditto to what brother Lou said. And the reasons you come back is the same reason why I never go elsewhere (either RB or BA). It's a small community, but very cool (for the most part). I think relaxed might be a good word. You can never go wrong with that... relaxed...goes good with beer too. [8D]

I'd pretty much send you whatever I can find for a Black Note, Wild Thing, and the always awesome Central Waters barreled stuff. Anything in particular you are looking for outside of the Alesmith (which I can get the next time I head over the hill to California but not here in Reno)?
Let me see if I can grab some more of the Central Waters BBBW. That's a great brew. Unfortunately I was able to have a few glasses of black note on draft here in Pittsburgh so I JUST finished a trade for my bottle - pulled in a Hill Farmstead Damon. If I can get some more of the CW stuff (which I should) I'll let you know and we can work something out - even if it's just locals.
