Non-Beer Discussion by TREBORIUS
I would like to congratulate Barack Obama on being the the 44th President of this great land. There is an uphill battle ahead of him as he tries to steer the Great Ship America into the future and I hope that we all, as Americans, work with him to get us to where we want to go.

Wish the same could be said out here. We have rampant unemployment, the highest foreclosure rate in the U.S. in a 90 mile radius, same with crime and the area I live in lives off of agriculture (we basically feed the US and parts of the world). Yet Enviromentalists want to shut down the pumps that feed people, all beacuse a fish the size of your pinky gets sucked up into the pumps and this fish is endangered (sure the fish is okay, but at the cost of driving out 200,000 families...is it worth it?). And even after measures are taken to protect said fish, then it's on to the salmon and once steps are taken it something else, all the while turning cities in Central Cal into ghost towns. Employers are fleeing in droves because of the over-regulations that CARB (look it up) is enforcing, because as you know...California is an island so we can single handedly clean the Earth.

Henceforth, the balance of power swings back and forth usually each time. Which is why the results over here were in line with the that of the country (at least his time around). Don't get me wrong, with the union mentality over here, it's still bluer than blue. But things can still change in a heartbeat. Especially if people are out of a job and pissed off enough about it.

Part of the problem is that there's a people on both sides of the aisle who vote 100% along party lines w/o thinking. We have a huge Hispanic population here, and Democrats count on that vote (and get it 60-70% of the time) along with the usual demographics that vote blue. I don't think a large part of people study the candidates and vote according to their morals, and the parties don't help by putting people who are just cardboard candidates. We got Arnold, because 50% of California's thought "hey, it'd be cool to have The Terminator as our governor" w/o looking at what he has done (plus they were pissed at Gray Davis, who was recalled). Lots of things wrong with California. Only a few things right, and none of them are political related.

(Mind you, I am not saying you, yourself, voted for this guy, but man, I just can't believe the mentality in that state of yours). I was really hoping that the voters in San Francisco would be too hung over from the big World Series win to make it to the polls, and would have forgotten it was election day. Guess I was wrong on that account, eh?....LOL...[}:)][B)][xx(].....

Controlling the border, enforcing work authorization laws, deport criminals that are here illegally instead of being a drain. I realize that all states have different issues to deal with. But it irks me when I see this, which is not a few isolated cases. I know exactly why California laws that have been in place for decades are not enforced. Biting the hand that feeds you is not in the best interest of those who count on those same votes.

Congrats to those who won, be it Red or Blue. As much as I love California, I cannot see the agenda of bigger government, more hand-outs and more regulation being good for the 7th (or is it 8th now) biggest GDP on Earth. As it is, we have people at grocery stores buying groceries with food stamps, then hopping into their Escalades with their Coach purses and blinged out jewelry and $200 shoes. Why? Because there are no effective checks & balances. It happens. I see it weekly. I would like to see people make correct choices to turn this State around, but unfortunatey with sooo many people putting their hand out to the Sugar Daddy government, and the government all too ready to hand out....nothing will change in this state. At some point, there will no longer be people who want to work, because the Government will provide alll you need. And then, where does the money come from if there's no one to tax? Probably won't be in my life, or my daughters lifetime. But with the way it's going, in California mind you...that's where it's heading.
Remember, Stout...The Planet has a FEEEEEE-VER!.....ahahahahahahaa... ahahahahahahahaAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!....er um, yeah....[}:)][:0][:(!][:D]........

yes...I waited 8 long miserable years for this, while seeing my country neutered at the hands of some very STUPID, UGLY, CRIMINAL, SUBVERSIVE, AND DICTATORIAL PEOPLE, namely radical leftist marxist communists with their "hopee changee", and an opposition party that WOULDN'T DO A DAMN THING TO STOP IT (and we all know why), as well as a biased media/rot pop culture that is nothing more than a giant cheerleading PR firm for these assholes........ YES...I AGREE....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! To a non-establishment outsider, DONALD TRUMP, for pulling off this nation's biggest FUCK YOU since July 4, 1776!!!!!.....Here's hoping our country can now go back to being AMERICA again, and RE-ATTACH IT'S BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..and the aforementioned in the first paragraph will have a tough time cleaning their underwear.....respond as you wish, in any tone that you wish, all of you Broomstick 1 & Obummer corruption supporters (espeically those of you who don't post anymore, but I know you are still out there..oh yes you are!!!)....as any and all comments will be ignored and not responded to.....Now I can finally say I am satisfied with this HISTORICAL ELECTION'S results!.....have a wonderful day.... Love and Kisses....your old Pal Oiz
