Certain Beers Deleted, Reviews Moved/Removed

It was really starting to drive me nuts that many people were reviewing the same beer twice under different names. We planned to take care of this when the new database is uploaded, but that won't happen for a couple more months. So, I just fixed some of the popular ones today. Probably a dozen people will notice that they have fewer reviews now.
Beers Adjusted So far:
Budweiser Light - bud light
Fosters Lager - Fosters
Coors Origina - Coors
Carlsberg Lager - Carlsberg Beer
Genesee Cream Ale - Genesee Cream Ale
Bass Ale - Bass Ale

Of course I didn't go on a rampage, deleting reviews left and right :)
I made a quick tool today that allows me to easily Move reviews from one beer to another. Once I moved them all, I delete the beer. If I see that someone has reviewed both, then I delete the one that seemed the least descriptive. Unfortunately, some of the stats are wrong because I didn't recalculate or adjust all of the database fields related to the reviews. It would takes more hours of programing. Everything will be fixed once the database cleanup is complete. The only reason why I did some beers today was because these few beers are becoming very popular and I've received so many copmlaints
If you guys notice someone with multiple reviews on the same beer, please let me know. I bet I missed some.
Oh yeah, another thing not corrected is the caps. They weren't deleted from a person when I deleted their review. They'll be recalculated later at some point. The difference is pretty small right now so it's not a priority.

I agree that the beercaps aren't that important. We're guys in here (most of us) and we like to keep score. It's just fun. I agree that there are a few that are becoming known for reviewing the same beer twice. Or adding it twice. Kissmybass mentioned a few and I think I've even seem much more than that (can't remember which one's exactly) I just recall trying beers and going to review them and havingt two choices! I think you lost the rivalry game bass... Sox/Yanks! When are you going to learn that homosexual young boys playing a sport doesn't count.... well, this especially applies to the Dukies! PS Sorry if any of you know someone or went to Duke...

In Reply To #15 I accidentally doubled up on two beers and tried to delete them and just created more of a mess. Just let Flash know and he can delete them for you. Eventually everything will be cleaned up but obviously with so many beers it must be tough to clean everything up. Good work bluez! Somebody's got to catch the criminals! :)
