Overall, a pretty good show. I was disappointed to see one of the brewmeisters was from coors, but glad to see the final product appeared to be something of a dark beer. Obviously not a pils. Wish they would have let the judge give his two cents worth! And dammit, it appears Stone's brewmeister gets his life's meaning from the company name. Haha! A cool ride, I was sitting calculating at 200 gallons per brew, two trucks, 3-4 bucks a pint, one at a local SEC football game every week...hmmmm....dollars?
Well, label me disappointed. Jesse was condescending towards Lee, and made him out to be a lazy sod. Well, he's a fucking brewer, not an engineer. What the hell did he expect from him? Lee was probably ripped when Jesse told him to shine up the fermenter, I would have been. Lee Chase is a very well respected man in the brewing industry, and Jesse showed he had no clue. There was absolutely no mention of the beer, and viewers know nothing more about Stone than they did before they saw the show, other than it exists. National exposure for Stone? Sure, but I'd be willing to bet no one viewers are out searching for Stone after seeing the episode. I bet viewers who didn't already know of Stone have already forgotten the name. My favorite part of the episode is when an attendee of the beer festival asked Jesse what kind of beer it was. "uhhhhhh...." A quote which only magnifies Jesse's ignorance. Shouldn't he know something about what he's brewing? Sigh.....

In Reply To #4 Yep, Jesse was clueless about the beer. He acted like he thought they were going to be able to drink the beer immediately after they cooked it. It looked like the brewers had the most fun after the others left. I think Jesse is probably a swill drinker.
oops, there is another thread on this topic in the website comments forum that i replied too. I mentioned how the whole episode had commercials of Coors Original with Jesse in them. Even though they didn't give much info on Stone, you do have to give them credit for picking as good of a brewery as they did. Also, they never tell much about the businesses that their guests come from. Just a little 30 second clip of where each person. But I wonder what Lee was doing with those books. Looked like catalogs. Maybe he was buying parts to make another crazy bicycle like the one they showed him riding.
